I think its disgusting that a community would cancel a prom simply because a person wanted to attend the dance with a partner of the same sex. Heaven forbid two girls (or guys) dance in public.
Pretty sure they'd be held to the same standards as the hetero couples there. That's what the chaperones are for, right? It's JUST a dance. No one is going to be having sex on the dance floor.
Disgusting. The more I hear about prejudice like this, the more I distance myself from any organization who could possibly teach such hate.
