She learned something new last night though, as she surfed the internet for a picture that resembled the tastey little critter she had nibbled on at the buffet...
According to a site she read, 'fresh' octopus is grey. Cooked octopus is red. Mmm... Yum!
The horrifying realization that her tasty excursion yesterday involved a small grey creature hit her like a ton of bricks.
It wasn't just seafood with its face still on.
It was Rocky-Mountain-cheap-buffet-RAW!!
Forgive her, all you lovers of seafood. Please. Forgive her for her disgust and ignorance. But where she lives, seafood that is raw can NOT be that fresh. She does NOT reside near the ocean. Otherwise seafood adventures might be a whole different ball game.

Mmmm... tiny grey octopus... *nom*
I think the pieces in my salad were grey. Maybe a pinkish grey. I dunno. But not *red* by any definition.
